Cork Christmas Tree Farm has been in the industry for more than 20 years and understands forestry and commercial timber Ireland like no other. Our thinnings are in progress and available for commercial timber. We are a proud member of the Irish Timber Growers Associations and meet the highest standards of quality. 

We pay special attention to timber harvesting, which includes the cutting and extraction of timber. This is important because poorly harvested timber is not suitable for all applications and hence can result in wastage.

In order to ensure properly harvested trees, we perform thinning that involves the removal of inferior trees, which means we are only left with trees that are excellent in size and quality. The process of thinning is typically performed three to five times a year.
